The Dream Cube

As a contracted Lead Programmer for The-Artery to help with the DreamCube experience at the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum in New Orleans, Kyle Frost was responsible for designing and implementing crucial system integrations that enabled hands-free motion detection and projection mapping.

In this immersive experience, users step into the DreamCube and are seamlessly detected and tracked, allowing them to interact with historical figures in various poignant scenes, including the 105 Mile March and a desegregated elementary school.

Leveraging Unreal Engine's powerful nDisplay technology, we achieved a 270-degree projection mapping onto three distinct walls, providing users with an immersive and compelling journey into history, where they can truly feel transported to the past.
