You approach the chest with Spunk. He leans in close to the chest, nearly touching it, breathing heavily. You roll your eyes and open it. Loud triumphant music plays, and confetti shoots out. A fair bit of confetti actually hits Spunk in the eyes and he jumps back with a yelp.

Inside the chest is a single scrap of paper that you grab. Spunk returns shortly and almost shoves his head inside, rooting around.

Spunk - “What in the tarnation? No treasure?? What a rip off, after all the work we put in getting here!”

Spunk opens a portal next to him with his staff. “Well, I guess that’s all for this lame adventure. Maybe I can get more loot next time. BYE!”

And just like that, he’s gone.
